Got ideas?
We would love to hear your topic ideas and love to accommodate volunteers or nominations for presenters. If you have an idea, please email us at: midwestpilgrims@gmail.com.
Annual Silent Auction:
Each year we hold a silent auction to support future Midwest Pilgrims Retreat scholarships. Past auctions have included donations of original artwork, small gifts, handicrafts, preserves, massage, jewelry, t-shirts, etc. Pilgrims are invited to bring items for the silent auction to support our efforts to help others attend pilgrimage.
In order to ensure that all donations go directly to the Midwest Pilgrim Retreat Scholarship Fund, payments cannot be made in cash or by check – only credit card payments made through PayPal or Venmo will be accepted.
Participation in the silent auction is completely optional.
Book Sales:
Our presenters often bring copies of books they have authored for purchase at the retreat. If you have published work that you think other pilgrims would be interested in purchasing, you are very welcome to bring copies to sell.
Cookie Jars:
Each year, Midwest Pilgrims are invited to join other groups and visitors in donating empty cookie jars to Waycross. Our food services director works with local charities to distribute these jars filled with Waycross cookies during the December holidays. This past December, they distributed 30 cookie jars to families with food insecurity through Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard. Consider participating in this Waycross ministry by bringing a cookie jar to donate.

The Snack Table
The communal snack table is a long-standing, much-loved tradition at Midwest Pilgrims. If you can, please bring a treat to share with everyone.

We are able to provide a small number of scholarships. If you will be unable to attend the pilgrimage without a bit of help and would like to apply for a scholarship, email us at midwestpilgrims@gmail.com with the subject line Scholarship.
